Gold Coast Techspace is a community-based workshop where people of all ages and experience can come together to access tools, equipment and knowledge they may not be able to access anywhere else. We exist to promote craftiness and creativity on the Gold Coast using modern technology such as 3D printers, Arduino boards, and computer-controlled laser cutters; and that’s just what we have for now!

If you want to design, build, create or try new ideas in an inclusive environment then this is the place for you.

This tour starts at 7:30pm, please arrive at least 5 mins early to meet the member conducting the tour. There is loads of parking behind the building, just walk up the ramp you drove past to get in.

    Hi Jerome, would this workshop be suitable for Lucca to attend, or is it too advanced for his age? Thanks!

    Hi Diogo, it is the adult version of kidhack. There is no reason you couldn't come along with Lucca and gauge for yourself. But it officially runs from 7-9pm and is a little less organized. If you did want to come along regularly we have a $300 annual family membership.

    I’ve been practicing almost every day with Lucca at home, and he can’t stop building robots. I think it will be great to work on some projects together with him, and Techspace is the place he loves the most. How can I make the payment? or would it be possible to bring him this week for a trial session? My only concern is the timing, usually by 7pm, he’s already asleep.. Thanks in advance for your help, and I’m looking forward to joining!

    Hi Diogo, I will try and get there early tonight and you can just come along and no fee required this time. I will add a comment when I am heading to Techspace, it takes me about 20 minutes
